Ullman Ding-A-Ling Supper Club

Supper club atmosphere and price. Husband had the walleye which was good, nice light tasty crust. I had 16 oz porterhouse, simple 1/2 in thick steak with no seasoning, perfectly med-rare, mediocre flavor. Salad bar with all entrees, had a few nice salads, salad toppings were few. Would not recommend that price for that quality.

I really like the Ullman Ding-A-Ling. It was my first experience at a supper club. Despite the great wait staff, the wonderful food, and the home style atmosphere, I had to give my experience a 3 star rating.

My wife and I were treated very rudely upon entry. She has much more patience than I do and wanted to wait to see if the food was worth the poor manners from the bartender/matron.

I understand that the restaurant was close to capacity and slightly busy. I also understood that she may not have had time to explain the wait to me. However, if you snap at a customer in a condescending tone you are only hurting your entire business and holding others back from enjoying what could be a great experience.

Take a deep breath and ignore the poor attitude upon entry, the food is worth the bad manners.

A true Supper Club. Dinner iincludes an outstanding salad bar with variety and delicious homemade soups. Prices are reasonable, dinner unbeatable and if you leave hungry, it is your own fault. Suggest calling for reservations.

A pleasant place to eat when up in the Mercer, WI area. Have enjoyed this supper club for years. However, last time I went 5/2019, it was a little less enjoyable than I remember. Prices are getting too high in my book and the portions more and more scimpier. Nice waitresses, nice atmosphere ????-- owner can be pleasant when she needs to. Unfortunately, the salad bar, which is how the Ding-a-ling made its name, leaves a little to be desired. Used to be much better with a greater assortment of food. But if you're looking for an extravagant night out, try it. And you be the judge.
