Island View Lodge

Have loved this little spot since the first time we stopped. If you love old school, lake resorts this is where you need to go. I've only been in the winter months but we've anyways had good food and good service. If you are looking for fancy, go somewhere else. This is a small family owned business with all the bumps and bruises that come along with buying a hundred year old resort.

Child. The place is always super relaxing and great food! Current owners are super funny as well. We love our stays here.

Our group stopped in from the trails to warm up and hydrate, place was packed, lots of energy and laughter, we didn't eat but others next to us raved, good service at the bar, fun off the beaten path place to stop if you're in the area, we will again.

This is hands down our favorite destination bar in the area. At first glance you might not see the attraction, but the minute you step into the place and meet Alex and Erin, the owners, you will be hooked. We're not bar people, but we intentionally go out to Island View as much as we can throughout the year to support them and their business. They are always trying new things and making it fun, which is the biggest draw for us. So, if you're in the area, or even if you're not, you should definitely make a trip out there. You won't be disappointed.

This place is AMAZING!!! BEST mushroom swiss I've ever had. Awesome kids menu which is the most fun thing in the world. Great friendly people and an out of this world view. So much fun super kid friendly will definitely be going back!
