“Finally a good food good drink Mexican restaurant. Friendly staff We were seated right away. The restaurant appeared very open, spacious and clean. Ordered the Supreme Enchilada it was delicious Ordered the #3 Vegetarian it was very good All large portions Tried the Perfect Margarita it was pretty good and did not have a lot of the premix which makes the margarita to sweet Tried the Texas Margarita that was delicious My only suggestion is to double check the non alcoholic drinks a little more so we don’t have to ask for a refill. Overall the best Mexican Restaurant in Wisconsin that we have tried which is over a handful of full. Check them out!”

“Brought 6 guys for lunch to this old style watering hole. Service was EXCELLENT! Ordered drinks and the bar person got the order right the first time. Ordered burgers and some chicken wings and while it took some time overall most came out ok. I ordered the spicy wings and they were very mild. My fries were soft and NOT fried. The other 5 ordered burgers and they said it was ok but they felt the burgers were frozen and ok. Overall this is just the kind of old time bar Wisconsin is known for. It would be great if they could find some burgers that would help them stand out.”

“For any/all travelers AND especially truck drivers reading this...if you want a great place to stop, take a break, and eat a truly HOME-COOKED meal, THIS IS THE PLACE! I personally have stopped here on three occasions and I've never been disappointed. There is a nice, big lot for truck parking (in the rear) and cars can park up front. The food AND desserts are super delicious! The people here are warm and friendly. It is one of THE BEST places in the Midwest (hands down) to stop for your 10-hr break!”

“Damn I love this place! Is it fancy? No. Is it comfy? Yes. Is it an amazing value? Absolutely! Sure, it's a restaurant in a truck stop off the interstate. But there's a reason it's been here for 1,000 years. The Pine Cone serves good food at reasonable prices with friendly service. Can you beat a 24oz T-bone dinner for 17 bucks?! Oh and they have an amazing bakery too!! Stop in and have a breakfast, burger or dinner, you'll be back! Unless, of course, you're just driving from one end of 94 to the other. In which case you'll at least have had a satisfying meal! Oh and watch out for the cops on I94 and 26 around here. It's a speed trap as old as the Pine Cone! :)”

“I've been here a number of times with different people. It's a great place to eat and they offer a good variety of food. Some pasta options, seafood, steaks, and a few random choices. The food has always been excellent. It really is the only fine dining experience around the area. Most times I get reservations a day or two ahead, and I recommend you do the same as the few times I haven't done so the wait was 30 minutes to an hour. The bar offers real cocktails mixed by experienced inventive staff.”

“It's a taco Bell, you get what you pay for come in with low expectations and you'll be impressed. Don't normally beat at taco Bell but when it's the only thing open and you're hungry you do what you can. Make sure to specify what meat you want. If you don't ask you'll get beans and ground beef.”
