Honestly THE BEST Baked Fish around! The breaded fish is good, too! Truly a hidden gem.

Last minute decision to get food on way home and was first option from location we were at and it was ABSOLUTELY worth it. Great service and fish fry was excellent. We all had fried fish but each a different potato and sampled from all plates...homemade chips/fries were the clear favorite. Appreciate the history lesson of the building as well.

Went to the Hidaway for the first time . We had some great Old Fashions and a fish fry. Both were very good. Mike the bartender made excellent drinks. We even met the owners who were very friendly and the staff was very friendy and hard working . We will definitely go back .

The baked cod was delicious! Tots done to perfection. This place is so cool. Nothing fancy, plastic silverware, food served in cardboard tray containers. Totally got the “up north” vibes while I was there. If you didn’t know what to look for, you may drive past it. The staff was super nice! I also had a Brandy Old Fashioned which was really good. If you are looking for good food, head here!

Great dive bar. We had their fish fry sample dinner, cod, bluegill, walleye and perch with Cole slaw and a potato pancake, all delicious. They were quite busy but our waitress did a bang up job making sure we had everything we needed. Really nice folks....

Off rte 83 on 84th in Salem WI and tucked in off the road but we'll worth finding!
