    Couldn't go to La Crosse without getting 2 double dogs

    This is one classic / great place to stop in a hurry, or looking for an inexpensive meal. Their dogs are excellent, and the fries are always made as you order them. They can be the best fries money can buy, if they don't pull them too early (or the heat is set right, etc) and they end up a little undercooked. They have other options, but sticking to the chili dog / dry combos has been our forte.
