Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

When we went they were short staffed but the manager and one server were going above and beyond to serve their customers. That means more than anything to me. And the food was excellent!

Food was good and served very quickly. But the facility was very dirty. The front door had more finger prints and smudge marks then I could count and the display cases had about the same. Floor had food on it. Staff was very friendly but I think the ones standing around could of been cleaning up a bit. Bathrooms needed attending as well. If I wasn’t so hungry I might of went else where.

On occasion at late hours I have had remarkably slow service, but that doesn’t stop me from loving this place. Every interaction with the wait staff has been amazing. They have a great sense of humor and make the most of their jobs. It makes up for how cold the workers in the front can be on occasion. The food is good and the late night deals are great. Who doesn’t love half priced pie?!

My husband ordered steak and peppers- looked and smelled amazing and tasted very good for the first few bites of steak but could not eat the rest of the steak as it was all gristle and fat. Disappointed because the vegetables were good. My pot roast was very good. Our waitress Lily was very nice but seemed to be the only one working so she couldn't possibly keep up.
