Oh Yeah! Complete nostalgia with this stop. Remember stopping at places like this in the 70's and the waitress would roller skate out to your car with food on a tray that hung on your car window? You don't remember that? Ugh! Kids these days! If you don't remember that era then get out to Lacrosse WI and check this place out! Food was great and the service was classic right down to the roller skates.

If you don't want to eat in your car they do have parking and picnic tables available. Indoor seating is an option as well, but more limited.

As for the food selection, the root beer is great. They have a flavor burst style ice cream. Vanilla ice cream with a colored line along the outside edge in any one or two of their available flavors. I had a Chocolate and Cherry on mine. And our meals were very good, me with my burger and my wife with the fish.

The place was hopping when we were there and I expect that is normally the case. Despite the heavy traffic, the food was quickly prepared and served.

We don't live in the area, but it is a mid-point on our drive up to visit our daughter in college. We make every attempt to stop here for our dinner on those trips.

Great place to stop for a quick bite or some ice cream. The food is good and decently priced and the milk shakes are fantastic! The service is always good and the car hops do an amazing job on those rollerskates. Plenty of slots if you're eating in your car plus picnic tables and dining area in the building. It wouldn't be unusual to see a bunch of classic cars up there either. Great place for some nostalgia. Do yourself a favor and stop up there and grab a burger and a rootbeer float, you won't be disappointed.

First time here today and I had a great experience. Pulled up in my car and ordering was easy. My dog even got a free pup cup of ice cream! It's cool that the carhops are in the poodle skirts and roller blades. I had a double cheeseburger, fries, and their draft rootbeer. All very good and ready quick! Definitely coming back when I'm in the area!

I was so pleased that I got to stop on a trip back to La crosse. The food is fairly priced. Everything is always delicious. And when I went I was able to get a root beer float for only 99 Cents. Literally you can't get anything better for a buck. Thanks everyone at Rudy's for the constant wonderful service and quality food!

Great prices! Good food. Good atmosphere. Yes, they serve you on roller skates! If I return to this area of the US I would dine here again.
