Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe

The love and peace of the Blessed Mother's presence can be felt throughout the grounds and in the buildings. It is really beautiful and the staff couldn't be kinder or more thoughtful. We called ahead since our mom can't walk very far, and they were waiting for us so that they could bring her up the hill in their golf cart. We can't wait to go back.

What a beautiful shrine, church, stations and rosary walks; and grounds. We made the 9am Latin Mass on Sunday, been a lot of years for me, when I was an alter boy in the 60s. Lots of photos. Great gift shop and cafe as well. We spent 3 hours here and could easily double that. The whole area is built on a wonderful, treed steep hillside. They offer cart rides to those that need them.

This is a beautiful place! I think even if you do not practice a Catholic religion, this is a beautiful environment to visit, walk on the meditation path, enjoy the beautiful landscape and flowers. The Cafe' offers several delicious baked treats and soup. This is a newer built area; the church and chapel are exquisite!

Beautiful place with beautiful, healing energy. This is the only holy ground left in the area where angels still reside and interact. Definitely worth visiting. Make it a point to come here. I've been an active Chios EMT for eleven years and this place vibrates with great spiritual energy. I've visited many places that are spiritual but nothing compares to the energy I feel here. Thank you for allowing us to visit. I'm very thankful for this.

The stunningly beautiful uphill walk to the shrine chapel was the perfect way to begin our morning. You do not have to be of the Catholic faith to appreciate the love and beauty dripped into every aspect of the shrine. Staff were exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable. The cafe food was delicious and very moderately priced (highly recommend the french toast). My husband and I left feeling refreshed.
