Excellent. Meat was delicious. Sauces were interesting. Ambience was greasy spoon diner, service was great...prompt and informal. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Oh and do not leave without ordering the fresh pork rinds...omg good

Has a real "down home " Southern feel, yet has excellent home made pastrami! Who would have thought? Staff pushes the surprisingly expensive side dish/soda fountain drink combo. The slaw is way too peppery and you don't need all that soda sugar, so stick to the reasonably priced mains.

The BBQ was great, brisket was some of the best I've ever had. Interestingly the fried mushrooms also ranked way up there, super thick, great breading. Excellent visit as always.

This was fantastic! I got that meat sampler and was quite impressed. The brisket was fantastic. The ribs were competition style so they had a bite.....and you could pull them off the bone.....but they didn't fall off the bone. Just the way I like them. The pulled pork was incredible. And the chicken was so good with their white barbecue sauce! And the smoked brat was a little piece of meat dessert. Sherry was fantastic and we got to meet Brian....who clearly knows what he is doing. I highly recommend it. It was worth the drive from Green Bay. We will be back.
