I have liked going here until a certain bartender was not customer friendly. I enjoy all the bartenders but 1 who the first time didn't acknowledge us and took another order before us upon not refilling our beverages. We stopped going there until recently. No bad experiences until tonight with the same bartender, not get polite upon greeting, slow to take our order and left beverages empty for 15 min or more while on his phone and doing other things except acknowledging us. My husband said something finally and he said, "You know you catch more bees with honey than vinegar". Really? My husband being the better person, apologized. Since when does a customer apologize to someone who is not doing their job and being rude? No reason for this. I left a note and if I locate the owner, I will call him to let him know what is going on. I will NEVER have him wait on us again. We are owed the apology, not the rude, neglectful bartender. All is not negative, the food is amazing and most of the service really great.

The only place in wausau where you will get food that always tastes the same, and it always tastes amazing. I've never been to a place that was as consistent in quality as here. Getting beef for burgers locally, the buns for burgers from the local bakery, and the cheese from local producers, you cannot possibly go wrong. There are so many places to eat at in wausau, and I will always pick B&R first. All the bartenders are great people, and are welcoming. I love this place.

I was there today with friends for fish tacos . Damn some of the best i have ever had. They need to be recognized as a great place to eat. A customer and his girlfriend had pizza looked delicious. Service was great. They always deserve a 5 star

This bar is truly the best bar in Wausau. Great food, great bartenders, pool table is only 50 cents. Good drinks. If you haven't been there you need to stop.
I said to the bartender the only thing you need is a good home made pie, guess what in about 30 seconds we had a piece of home made pumpkin pie in front of us. Check this place out you will not be disappointed.

Great experience at B&R. Was there on free soup Wednesday. Had a great bowl of Italian Wedding soup with meatballs. This free soup thing is great. All you can eat -free! Also had a bloody Mary that was delicious and also free since it was the last shot in the bottle (spider). Great food, really friendly folks. Try it out.
