Red Eye is THE place to go when you have any visitors visiting from outside of the area! I love to take friends visiting me that have come from another state to eat at Red Eye. Out of state friends whom visit regularly always ask to go back to Red Eye. I always love checking out what new items are on the daily chef's menu. It keeps the menu from getting stale and makes it unique. If there isn't anything on the daily menu that strikes an interest, my go-to is the Wisconsin Burger! I always recommend that to visitors who aren't interested in the daily menu options. They offer a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free foods. Their drinks are amazing! I always get an old fashioned (whiskey sour for me!) because they always get it just right. And you wrap it all up...AMAZING and unique desserts!
Discovered this place several years ago on our way back from an annual camping trip and love it! Friendly and attentive staff along with fantastic burgers. They also have wood oven fired pizzas (but I have only stuck with the burgers). I would say that it is a little pricey, but well worth it! We will be back whenever we are in the area!
Love the atmosphere, my drink Lady of Eden was delicious. Hubby got the Wisconsin burger cooked medium, was very juicy. Bacon had a little smoky charred flavor. ????The fingerling potatoes were cooked just right with a delicious garlic & thyme blend. My beef & lamb sliders were juicy. Staff was great.
This place fell a little short. I guess my expectations were a little too high after all the good reviews. If I was a local I would probably hang out here a bit, at least to meet people. It seems to be pretty popular and draws a good crowd. The building is nice and the decor is neat. I found the food to be a bit wanting though, especially at the price. My meal tasted decent at least, but didn't even get close to filling me up.
Great menu!! We had a good sized group so we could try a number of items. The spinach and artichoke dip along with the pretzels is what we started with and they were so fresh it was unreal. Burgers, pizza, sandwiches...it was all so very tasty. It was all very fresh!! Locally sourced foods served up right!!!
