We went for brunch and got the Cuban Pork Hash. Best food I've ever had in Wausau. They actually know what seasoning and quality ingredients are here.
Reasonable prices, generous portions, and great ambiance. Very clean. Even the sparking water with lime was very good. We will definitely be back.

It could be a great addition to Wausau dining. There were small things with the food that made me like it but not love it.

I ordered the Guajillo Salmon and the salsas were great. The rice was overcooked, stodgy, and bland. It was evident the skin on the salmon was blackened but then for some reason, was put skin side down where it became soggy and unappetizing. The Mango Salsa and Chili Verde were the only things providing flavor to the dish. The menu also stated the salmon would be cooked to a medium and mine was closer to the well done side.

We also ordered the Red Snapper fillet, Meco Shrimp, and Cacio e Pepe Shrimp. The grits were solidified on the the Snapper and the Meco Shrimp. It was as if they were made ahead of time and then sat. The Shrimp and Snapper fillet were both cooked well though. No complaints were made on the Cacio e Pepe Shrimp.

For starters we had the Fresh Mussels and Chimichurri bread. Both were good and thoroughly enjoyed by the table.

At the end we shared a slice of the key lime pie which tasted wonderful but the crust was too thick and when you went in with your fork, the pie would separate from the crust due to the crust being too solid. It took a little bit of effort to get through that thick crust.

Overall, service was pretty good, atmosphere was great, and food was mediocre.

Beautiful restaurant and all the staff were very attentive. Tuna tartare was delicious! I ordered the Salmon entree just couldn’t eat it all due to filling up on the tuna. Will definitely go back to try the Mole Pork chop.

I got the pleasure of coming here to celebrate my step-mom’s and my birthdays. First time here and was floored how incredible this place is! I felt like I was just transported to a big city modern restaurant. Our server Brooke was attentive, intelligent (it was slow so we talked a lot about her future career and life), adorable, funny and gave us just the right amount of nudges and suggestions for more drinks and food. We didn’t feel pressured or hurried but thoroughly enjoy every second we were there. The hostess was awesome too and suggested we have tequila to celebrate our birthday. We looked at each other like ha ha is it that obvious?! The Thai Basil Margarita was awesome with the Mecalita coming in for a close second. Liked the Raspberry Margarita as well but was a little too sweet for our palates. Sharing it was just the right amount of sweet. Please add the option of mezcal soaked serranos to the ceviche or pork tacos! I did and it took some already incredible foods to another level of pleasure. Thank you for making Wausau that much more awesome. We’d like to suggest a scholarship program for your employees as many of them are college students. It’s be a great way to retain excellent staff and continue to give back to the community. Help Brooke become PA, PT or whatever her leads!

The food is absolutely delicious! The only reason I gave it for stars is the hat I feel like there’s a lack of vegetables.
But the flavor is fantastic! I’ve ate there 3X, one lunch and two dinners.

The bartenders are excellent. The food service is excellent. The atmosphere is excellent when I’m there. I feel like I am in Chicago.

Last night was the first time I was there when night fell, and it increase the ambience even more.
In the outdoor area, there is a candle on every table, and there are several fire pit features, and it just feels so relaxing and glamorous. LOVE!

The drinks selection is wonderful and cocktails are delicious!

It is literally my favorite place to go right now!
