When I started Superior Floor Company in 1985 I brought some customers there for a quiet dinner and north woods atmosphere. They had such a good time there, they not only became our best customer, they made every excuse to come back. Since then we entertained All our customers there year after year. Every year we had our dealer meeting in Wausau and had everyone, up to 60 customers to the WHEEL for a good time to unwind. The staff is wonderful and made our customers feel like they were the most special people. We sold the company in 2004 and have been returning at least twice a year to visit our favorite place of all time. If you are in a rush, go somewhere else, but if you want a truly North woods experience, Romantic atmosphere, Great food you need to experience The Wagon Wheel. You won't be disappointed. I guarantee it.

This is my local favorite. I've been entertaining customers here (domestic and international) for 20+ years. They love both the food and atmosphere, and many ask to go back. The food, drinks and wine are top shelf. Steaks (aged Angus) are fabulous! Homemade wild rice soup is a must. Don't plan to rush through dinner. Chill out and plan for drinks before dinner in the old north-woods decor bar area. This is a Central Wisconsin landmark supper club that's goes back with the same family ownership for many years.
