Not at all crowded on a Saturday night. Very nice salad to start, fresh greens, no iceberg lettuce thank goodness. Had the prime rib which was cooked exactly how l asked for. A generous glass of a very nice Sauvignon Blanc l have not tried before. Good service. Enjoyable dinner. Paradise on a Plate?...well...maybe not but it was good.
When one walks into the Palm Supper Club the smell of Charcoal, Fine woods, and Savory Flavors delights one's palate and senses! That dim yet relaxing atmosphere gets you in the mood for the music that tickles one's ear as you await your "Worldclass Dinning Experience!"The food is "Second to none!".... I highly recommend their Shrimp Po-Boy Sandwich for all you Seafood lovers.... This Southern staple food is sure to please... it's as if one has taken a trip to the French Quarters in each bite.... Moreover, the Steak Dinners are made to perfection.... as you can taste the smokey flavors as they rest upon your palate..... Sided with your choice of Potato and the Freshest Salad this side of the Mississippi! The Menu is extensive.... The Food is memorable... The Experience is exquisite.... take time to go down and stop on in at the Palms Supper Club.... Where they take your tastebuds on an endless journey to Paradise! Tell Anna, Lawrence sent you....
It was just OK at best. Drinks were not consistent at all and both were made by the same bartender. Also had the pleasure of watching the bartender touch and push down the ice in both our drinks. A gross habit at best. We ordered the prime rib dinner it was just OK. I almost sent it back. Not a supper club feel at all more like Mel's Dinner not impressed at all. I will not be back and sadly because under the previous owners the food & service were always top notch.
This place is honestly one of my favorite places to get a stake. The grill they use reminds me of the days I used to work at Hereford and Hops and how the stakes would come off just the way you’d like them to, which when I asked for Med-rare that’s what I got.
The only check for me would be that the buns were a little too toasts for our two boys but otherwise the burgers tasted very good.
Family gathered to celebrate my Mom's 90th birthday. 10 of us and the service and food were very good. Lots of delicious prime rib and shrimp. Clam chowder and baked French onion soup were excellent. If I lived in town this would become a favorite.
