Gateway Bar and Grill

Great selection. Prices good. Staff great. A gem we pulled into on a road trip for a wedding. Pleasant surprise.

Need a better plan for breakfast to chicken all you can eat. Once the chicken came out it was really good.

The food was fairly average for a local bar and grill, for example the quesadilla tasted a bit like a grilled cheese sandwich but was still better then a bit of shredded cheese in a tortilla. Luckily the food is very reasonably priced and comes in pretty large portions. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well as tables inside and seating at the bar. Still, I'm not sure if it was just because it was a Friday night or if it's normal for the restaurant, but it was fairly loud and more than half full. About 9 out of 10 tables had young kids, some of whom behaved atrociously. It seemed to be a fairly family friendly place.

Great place for a burger, sandwich or pizza-quick service, good bar popcorn too! Shaved prime rib sandwich & burgers are our favorites here. Pizza has a nice medium thickness, crunchy crust. Ourdoor patio looks great too, can't go wrong here.

My Gateway experience was very relaxing & enjoyable. Hats off to your staff and our waitress. We were a group of twenty ( that our waitress took on single handedly.) And made our dinner gathering memorable. I will recommend Gateway to my friend's or anyone who would ask for a good place to eat in the area. Please keep up the great job. You have gained a patron.
