“Newingham's is deeply hit or miss depending on when you go, it all depends on the cook at the time. The staff have always been very courteous and kind to us as my Grandparents have lived here for 40 years. The food is truly dependent on the cook that day which is why I rate 3 stars. Sometimes the food is out of this world, other times I would prefer eating out of the dumpster. Give it a shot, maybe you'll get lucky.”

“I have eaten just about everything from their menu (soups, onion pedals, burgers, Mac and cheese, garlic cheese bread, steak sandwiches, etc...). I have never been disappointed. The wait staff is always friendly and quick. The food is hot and delicious and it is close by to our cabin. Nice hidden gem! Prices are reasonable. The only thing I wish was that the burgers came with fries. But the food is so good that it isn't a big deal to have to buy them separately for the kids”

“I've gone here for years to participate in the world team hog wrestling championship. It's a blast although my wrestling days are over. To be honest it bothers me a little to put the animals through this. After the wrestling they have live music and a fireworks show. I've had some great summers with friends and then later as the kids decided to give it a try. What goes on here the other 364 days of the year I have no knowledge of but the hog wrestling is something you won't get to see anywhere else around theses parts.”
