Pioneer Family Restaurant

A great place to stop eat and rest while traveling. It had a great country woodsey look and appeal. We had a large breakfast there. Local folks seemed to be regulars that go there a lot.

My kids loved the pancakes, and waffles.

I got a beef melt sandwich with some amazing chicken dumpling soup.

It was a perfect touch for the rainy day it was.

We have been here numerous times and never been disappointed. Food is generous and tasty without too much salt. My favorite is beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. Wife's favorite is waffle chips that come heaped on plate next to her gluton free bread grilled cheese sandwich.

Amazing fish fry! Absolutely delicious! Great and fast service. Will definitely be returning. Thanks for the delicious food and great memories made with my family.

The staff was pleasant and welcoming. Our server was very nice, and food came out quickly. The food was really good! My husband loved his patty melt, and was glad to see a hand made patty, not a frozen beef puck. I had a burger, and it was delicious, as was the soup. The kid's meals offered side choices of fries, applesauce, or fresh fruit and included a drink. I noticed, and my husband and I discussed (having both worked in restaurants before) that the place is immaculate! Not a speck of dust to be seen, and the restroom was super clean as well. The prices are definitely fair for the quality you get. I wish we lived closer, we would be regulars!
