Had an early Mothers Day dinner here with the kids. We walked in at 6:00pm- and honestly I expected we would have to wait forever to be seated, but within 20 min we had been sat.
It seemed like our server was overwhelmed, or just really busy- but she was attentive and really helpful when it came to narrowing down this extensive menu. (Note: alot of things listed on the online menu are unavailable depending on the time/day of visit)
In the end I went with a seafood alfredo which was literally the best I've ever had. Will definitely be back.
Oh! and they have a volleyball court- might be my new favorite place.
What we loved - Overall very good food. Prices are reasonable. Service pretty good. What we did not love - we sat in the large back dining room right next to a portable dish-collecting station. OMG, servers would literally toss their dishes in there which resulted in very loud banging noises.....constantly. Very obnoxious and borderline rude by the staff. Are they too lazy to walk an extra 15 steps back to the kitchen? Can we enjoy our delicious prime rib without being startled every 10 seconds? They may have well seated us in the back room by the dishwasher. We will be back, but for the love of God, can you please have the servers carry the dishes back to the kitchen/dishwasher area and get rid of the dirty dish bin right in the dining room?!
The food here is pretty good. I usually go there for beer but have eaten there a few times. Prices are reasonable except for the cost of carry out beer. $28 a case. I would recommend Joe's for food anytime
Had the rack + half rack of ribs Tuesday special with cheesy potatoes. Wow, that's a lot of food! We were warned by our waitress Sarah that we'd have leftovers. The ribs were tasty. I prefer a little more smoke flavor, but that's just personal preference. The K Ranch isn't fancy, but it's friendly and a good spot for comfort food, good drinks and great service at very reasonable prices. Very satisfying meal!
It's like a little known gem that you don't want everyone to find out about. But you can't help tell everyone how good the food is and affordable the prices are. Imagine being at a super club but in the city a but more. This Friday reservations are recommended, but we were lucky to sneak in a table for 2 immediately around 6pm. If not we were prepared to have a drink at the bar and wait. My husband loves the prime rib, cooked by the chef who previously worked at Southwoods. I had the fish and clam chowder, very good. My last visit I topped off dinner with a grasshopper dessert drink. Mmm.... hope this place doesn't get too over crowded... keep it our secret
