One of the best places in town for authentic delicious food from Laos and Thailand. Street food is actually regarded as the most delicious, clean, go to food for the general population over there. They do justice on the flavors. Be prepared to order early and come at the designated time and be patient. I guarantee you it will be worth the wait. Try any of the big platters or authentic spicy salads. A platter can feed 3 to 4 people so prepare to be satisfied with 1 or 2.

We went here for the first time tonight. We ordered online and ordered a pretty big order. My wife does not like spicy food at all but with the great reviews she was willing to give it a try. She put mild for everything on our order. We had the green curry first and it was spicy but not too spicy for me. For my wife though it was too spicy. More for me and it was delicious. We also had the Lao Laab. Also too spicy for her. Again delicious and more for me. The Jeow Bong fried was rice was awesome but again too spicy for her. The sweet and sour chicken was good and she ate that. I will tell you that I feel like I gave a decent spice tolerance and my lips were burning and my mouth was feeling the heat. The food had a good spice to it but great flavor. I definitely will be coming back. My wife on the other hand said she is willing to try something else on the menu since it was good but too spicy for her liking.

I have gone back and asked for no spice whatsoever and the food was amazing. I greatly appreciate the time that the owner took to reply to my previous 4 star rating. This restaurant deserves 5 stars not only because of their delicious food but also because The Sweet Basil Family makes the effort to ensure that every experience is a great experience. Everyone needs to try this place out.

We are so excited to have Sweet Basil in the Franklin/Oak Creek area. We ordered Papaya Salad (3 spicy), Lao Grilled Steak and Thai ice coffee for curbside pick up. Everything tasted great and food was ready to go in the time frame the gave us. Highly recommended!

Great food, very organized and fabulous customer service! The woman I talked to on the phone (Victoria I believe) was very nice and accommodating. She was a delight to speak with. We ordered in the morning and chose a specific pick up time for dinner and our order was hot and ready when we arrived. If you’re used to very spicy Thai food, you’ll need to ask them to turn up the heat. Ours was not very spicy but it was still delicious. This would be a great place for someone new to Thai flavors to try. We really enjoyed the food and will definitely be back soon. We have been missing a place like this in our area and we are so happy they’re here!
