Nope. I have always wanted to come here. Finally ate here after some shopping. Resturant was busy and loud on a Saturday afternoon. The place is beautifully decorated. The food was hot but flavorless. I thought it was just the chicken in my plate but my friend's beef combo meal was also lacking seasoning. The service was great, but the quality of food was just not there.
The entrance and ambiance are authentic Mexico. The decor and the story told by the central room tie into the name. Very beautiful building.
The food, on the other hand, is not as good. The chips and salsa taste like store bought items. I ordered guacamole and it was bland. Some adobo and lime would have made it worth eating, honestly. The burrito was good size, and the chicken was good, but the mole tasted burnt. Rice and beans had no flavor. Did not try dessert.
Love the food service was great. My only complaint we were with a large group (18). They don't do separate checks. Took us a few minutes to decipher who owed what..
Really a very minor inconvenience great surroundings lovely decor. Will return again when we are in that area.
They are very friendly and the food is amazing. Well worth every dollar. Waiter we had called us familia and that is always feels nice to be let into something. Really like the fact that they had cheeseburgers and chicken tender options go my daughter who doesn’t really care for exotic cuisine????. Give them a shot if you are in the area and have a taste for some great food. The art on the inside is beautiful.
I called on our way driving to El Beso. They told me a 20 minute wait. Great, we'll be there in 20 minutes. Got there at the exact time, they sat us immediately. But In the WORST seat in the house. Table was right in front of the kitchen door. For the hour we were there, wait staff coming and going, knocking into my chair. Awful. The saving grace was our wonderful waitress, Maria Do Ortiz. She did a wonderful job. Her recommendations were useful, and her sweet disposition was welcoming. Thanks Maria, we'll come back and see you, even it's at that awful table by the kitchen door.
