Balistreri Brothers Pizza

Awesome pizza. Fresh ingredients and very balanced flavors. Sicilian style pizza. More authentic then a lot of the other pizza places around Milwaukee area. Two thumbs up from me. ????????????????

I had two Groupons for this place and they are 0 for 2 in terms of service. The pizza and wings tasted okay, but I'm not sure it's worth it for the problems I've had. The first time I placed my order by phone and as I arrived a lady was walking out of the store. Turns out her name rhymes with mine so the young woman working at the counter accidentally gave her my order. They said they could make me a new one in 10 minutes, which I was skeptical of since the first order took 25. Turns out the second one took 25 too. Today, I tried calling several times from 11:30 - noon. The website said they open at 11:00. I arrived at the place and the "open" sign was not lit, but I tried the door. It was locked but a man came over and let me in. I told him that the website said they open at 11:00 and he said yes, when he's here, motioning to a younger man. The younger man, who must run the place, said that they had some issues today but that he could still take my order and he did. He was the only one working.

I don't know that I'd give them a third chance unless I had a really good deal from a Groupon again.

For formally working in a small time family owned pizza place I was real glad to see this place doing well. The pizza reminded me of my family's place. It was very delicious and fairly priced. My only criticism is that I wish the Chicago style was more traditional with a larger layer of chunky tomato sauce on top of everything. I feel that the sauce on top was just far too this and not a true Chicago style taste to it. A thicker layer with more chunks and they would have it perfect.
