Hooligan's Super Bar

Every special (and menu item I’ve had) is somehow really, really good. Once for lunch, my girlfriend got the turkey club special and I got the pizza burger special (steaks and burgers are my thing). I absolutely loved the pizza burger and thought I had chosen the way better of the two. Nah. I would’ve been happy with the club. I don’t even like turkey clubs.

Also the burgers are cooked perfectly 100% of the time. The temp you order is the temp you get. Well done means no pink, not overcooked.

The prices are super reasonable. Always great, interesting beers on tap. Cool vibe. If someone is visiting MKE I take them here.

One of my favorite bars in Milwaukee. The atmosphere is tremendous. The staff is incredible. The grub is tip-top. One issue of concern, however, is their harboring of known white nationalist and author, Patrick S. Tomlinsin. He's the Richard Spencer of the science fiction world. Anyway. Great bar. Love the drinks. Just watch out for that national socialist pudge and your night will be fantastic!

Food & drink were fine. I do wish they would police their patrons better. A sweaty, fat adult, with the face of an obese toddler-who also professed to be a science fiction writer named Patrick, mind you, kept leering at my minor child, all suggestively. I don't care for that, quite frankly.

I always come into Hooligan's when I travel to Milwaukee. Great food, atmosphere, cheap drinks. It has that hometown feel to it, where nowadays that is really hard to find. One suggestion: Last time I went, there was this sci-fi author who was pushing his books to my friends and I, and he was getting sort of aggressive when he didn't agree with one of my friends' politics (and the fact we didn't buy his book, I suppose). Not sure if this is the kind of place to sell items, maybe do it elsewhere. Overall good place, Definitely stop by if you're in town.

Always a great experience at Hooligan's. Recently tried the cod fish fry and it was fantastic. The atmosphere is great and the servers are on point. If you like sports, beer, and great food, Hooligan's is the place!
