Nino's Southern Sides

The food is delicious but this place is set up more for take-out. They do have a few seats for customers but is mostly set up for take out. Three stars for me, only because it's not more of a set down restaurant.

Yes Nino's does have problems with counter personel. I checked out the reviews first. Was working in the area so being 11am you think you can order and come back and pick it up. Ordered mac n cheese lg first was the only thing I was going to try. Called the wife to see if she wanted to try something, person waiting on me seemed a little in a hurry then I noticed but ordered the catfish, and a couple pieces of chicken to try even though the wife just wanted a side they only cook on weekends. But never got the mac n cheese which is all I was going to try. The excuse was well you got on the phone with your wife so thought you didn't want it and you weren't charged for it anyway , as she got short with me on the phone. It was lunch hour when I got home and noticed so hopefully that is why she was short with me. I figured service problems would be evening or night. Not tasted the fish nor chicken yet. People will come back when you take time to not blame them when they were nice and understand.

I had the fried pork chops, smothered chicken, pinto beans & white rice, candied yams, macaroni & cheese and cabbage. The meat was seasoned well and very flavorful. The sides weren't seasoned as much but still tasted just as good. The service at the front desk was impeccable & the little lady serving me was sweet as pie. The restaurant was also very clean. They make all meat to order so there is a 25 minute wait on some of the meat options. But well worth it. My fiance enjoyed everything as well. Next time I'm going to try the lasagna and desserts and my fiance wants to try the chitlings ((chitterlings)) lol

The food is awesome. Customers service is great. The dressing!!!!!!!! I just wish they had sweet corn bread to go with the greens. I will be visiting everytime I visit Milwaukee. I've already visited them twice.

They were out of the side I wanted which was Collard greens. I guess they had a busy day. The cashier was not opened to any type of friendly answers. Completely No with emphasis on it. However, there was a very friendly young lady coming on shift , she had great customer service and even said she was coming down with a cold.
I ordered Fried fish, cole slaw and spaghetti which was good.
