It's funny...life lessons present themselves when you're just looking for lunch. Walked out of a fancy-schmancy bakery/restaurant in Port Washington an hour ago without buying a thing. My wife and I agreed that service with a smile (or at least acknowledgement of our presence) goes a long way. And we received neither of those things there so we left.

30 minutes later found us at Solly's. First time for both of us, but definitely not the last. The burgers were buttery perfection, and the Sassy sauce made our fries even more delectable (and sassy). But the real story is the genuine friendliness of Solly's. Not only our waitress but also other customers seated near us at the counter. It was how dining out SHOULD be.

This place is a gem! It's a classic old diner and it is so cozy and welcoming. Sara (I hope I spelled that correctly) was our server and she was just the nicest person ever. We all of course had a classic butter burger. My son had bacon and cheese and my husband and I did cheese and onions. We were not disappointed. My son also had the Oreo shake and loved it. We took homemade pie to go. Even reheated it was great. Can't wait to go back!

Local burger and sandwich joint in Milwaukee. Ordered a chicken sandwich, friend ordered a cheese burger. One thing, EVERYTHING sandwich they grille is dipped in butter, so brings new meaning to the term butter burger. Flavor was good, service was good, portions were good.

They have a spicy mustard that was really tasty, so that could be a reason to go there and at least try it out. But if your in any kind of diet, just get the water. It's bee easier that way.
