The Original

Absolutely delicious food! Drinks are great too. Have not had a great western dinner for a while. As an Asian, it is hard to impress me with traditional American food, we have dined in most of the top restaurants in town, and this restaurant is definitely one of the top in terms of food! The the prices we paid is well worth it. Will be back with husband to try more items.

Food was good but the value for the money wasn't there. I've had food at much cheaper places that tastes better. Service was good. Only thing id change is see if there is something to be done to make the food taste a level up from what it is now, to fit the type of restaurant the place is trying to be.

Cozy place with spot-on food. Had Easter brunch (my first time here) and was delighted with what we ordered. I had an excellent Monte Cristo sandwich and was, overall, more than happy with our experience. Would recommend, and I'll have to try and come back to try their regular menu sometime!

Every time that we have tried the food here it has been great! And we have been trying it for years!
We went back yesterday and had the Cobb salad, corn beef hash, avocado toast, ricotta pancakes with their fresh squeezed orange juice and they were all so good!
It's a great brunch choice.

Absolutely top drawer! The food was outstanding and the experience was delightful. Co-Owner Craig is a superb host. He makes you feel welcome from minute 1 and guides you through all aspects of the menu and remains fully engaged. I can't recommend this restaurant any more highly. The Original is a fabulous addition to Milwaukee's restaurant scene!
