McDonald's

Had to drive back around to get my fries, no big deal, starting to look nice with the remodel. Quarter pounder was pretty good.

It seems like a lot of McDonald's in the South Milwaukee area are extremely slow, have absent minded employees, and/or are completely unprofessional. I went to this location and like my other experiences with functional McDonald's in the area, they got my order wrong. Now, they corrected it, as others have done in the past too. WHY DOES IT SEEM LIKE MCDONALD'S EMPLOYEES IN THE AREA NEVER LISTEN?! I have never been to a McDonald's in the South Milwaukee area and received an accurate order, EVER! Double check your order before you leave.

This McDonald's restaurant is always clean. Older customers can enjoy the retro decor that shows how the chain evolved. Thank you for being unique.

Night orders, unfortunately, can take awhile to place. If you want just a coffee or soda, expect to wait ten minutes.

Update 1/21/19 The food and atmosphere were fine. During an employee break, however, the warmth got obliterated. Smokers held the northwest door open about one foot. As a result, customers quickly felt the 16 degree F outside temperature. Later, the owner gets the heating bill.

Hands down the best McDonald’s on Milwaukee south side. I was getting disillusioned with McDonald’s fries but this McDonald’s cooks and serves them the best. They have never screwed up my order and always cook the food just how I want it. Hats off to the Layton Ave McDonald’s near the airport! They do a great job with food and service. Their iced coffees are great too!
