Taqueria Buenavista

One of the best places I've been to for Mexican food. The prices are fair, the food is very good and fresh, and service is fast and friendly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Used to go here often. The food is pretty good at a great price. Usually fairly full throughout the day and very small. The last time I went I had placed an order online and when I picked it up it was not ready. It was chilaquiles with chicken. When I got home with the food there was no rice and two large scoops of beans splatter all over and no chicken. Called and they asked for me to return it and would offer a discount for next visit. Never returned and will not be either.

Don’t judge this restaurant by its appearance! The food is really good. Staff are friendly and helpful and service is quick. The prices are the best I’ve ever seen for Mexican food in Milwaukee. This hole in the wall is a bit of a hidden gem!

Food is always fresh and tasty—can be a longer wait time if ordering it to go, but that’s because they’re always pretty busy????????. Any of the enchiladas are delicious, as that’s what I primarily order. As someone else said, I figured I should actually review the place since I’ve gone so many times.

The food is always consistent with sauces to satisfy all. Great family! You have to try all the meats as they have unique flavors.
