Saz's State House

Saz’s has a big name for itself so maybe my expectations were too high. I found them to be just mediocre. I wasn’t impressed with them by any means. The bill was way too high for the quality of food. I will drive to El Pig Butts BBQ in Kewaskum for quality fall off the bone ribs, amazing flavor and reasonable prices.

Our server was very attentive and very thorough.

Note: The coleslaw was great! However what is with the chef choice vegetables? Cherry tomatoes & asparagus? That was a peculiar combination. There are better selections out there if color was the thought process.

Not impressed by any means!

First time here for dinner before a concert. Excellent burgers and ribs. We loved the pineapple wings! So good. Great service and food.

Accessible parking handicap ramp.... very nice atmosphere... greeted right away by bartender with huge smile and the hostess walked up right behind and sat us in a warm cozy corner of the dining room. Our server was on point her name was Robin ! Great suggestions and fast and prompt. I was splurging and had the festival combo...I truly enjoyed it especially your Chive fries...my husband had buttermilk battered shrimp that were also tasty. My server suggested a Porter that was rich and creamy... our friends shared a fish fry...the only thing I wasn't a fan of was the creme brulee... I ate it but the combinations just didn't work too much going on but hey I liked the sugar buzz it gave... thanks for the great meal...Robin in a Superb server and chased us to our car because I left my cell phone now that's great customer service ????

Although tucked away in a crook on State Street Saz's is a classic Wauwatosa staple that has endured for decades. The ribs are beyond delicious and the burgers are fine too. Best off all the restaurant serves shuttles for your Brewers and Bucks needs. Great for Wisconsin sports fans too with authentic memorabilia. Prices are fair, neither high nor low. This is one worth coming back to repeatedly over the years

I'm not giving a 5 star only because it took so long for our server to actually get to our table. Went for a noon brunch to a packed house. We had a party of 10 and we're immediately seated. Unfortunately our server was the only one for that particular area (which had multiple big parties). Once we did see him, he was extremely attentive. Had our drinks and food to us as soon as he could, made sure our food was perfectly cooked and kept checking to see if we needed anything. The food was great. Everyone had something different and all agreed it was cooked to order. I'd definitely make a come back. Great place and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
