Absolutely love this spot! The building is gorgeous and the bartender was super friendly. If you go into the courtyard by King Gambrinous and go into the door on the left you’ll find a little taproom. You can enjoy your beer in there or in the company of King Gambrinous. If you go straight, there’s a cute gift shop with all things Pabst. This is a must stop when in Milwaukee!
Came here for the brewery tour this weekend expecting a quick “this is how beer was brewed” walkthrough, but it was a lot more involved and included the history of the Best family, the Pabst empire, and the preservation of the land and buildings in the area.
Jim was humble, passionate, well versed in the history of Milwaukee. He was a great tour guide!
We had a great time and I recommend this to both locals and out of towners.
Adorable coffee shop in the Pabst Brewery. They have a basic coffee shop menu. We tried the iced Honey Badger (Cinnamon/Honey/Vanilla) and a White Chocolate Mocha and both were perfect! They also have boozy drinks to kickstart your day Wisconsin style! We met a couple ladies working remotely and had a great time hanging out in the courtyard.
Do not pass on the Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery tour. This tour teaches you the history of the Pabst Brewery. It also allows you to see how much the brewery meant to the community and the people that worked there. Enjoy a complimentary ice cold Pabst or Schlitz beer as you take the tour. Your tour guides drink with you and will toast you along the journey! By the end of the tour you will end up wishing that you could have worked for Pabst!
If Mark is your tour guide you will have a one-of-a-kind experience!
This tour is great. The host, Eric, was extremely amusing and he could talk about beer all day long. The tour takes you through the history of Pabst Brewing and the buildings in the area, including the one in the tour. The tour is so good, the owner of Pabst did the tour undercover when he bought Pabst!!
The café was also pretty good, too, with great coffee and friendly staff.
