Crawdaddy's Roadhouse on National is a reincarnation of the original Crawdaddy's of years ago. It serves much the same menu albeit abbreviated as before. It features blackened steaks and chops, although you can order a grilled version of you prefer. They also serve Cajun fare as well.

My wife had a Cajun eggplant and shrimp dish. My sister had a giant pork chop. My brother-in-law and I both had a ribeye with shrimp. His was grilled, mine blackened. All were delicious and bountiful.

Service was excellent even though it was very busy. We had called for a reservation since it was a Saturday night. We were seated immediately. They have a full bar for those that come without a reservation.

It's a brand new place set back from the street, so you could miss it. I suggest you don't since you would be missing out on a great meal.

Hosted a birthday party for 50 guests. Party room was bright, clean, and spacious. Guests gave the food rave reviews and the service was impeccable. Chef John was very accommodating and easy to work with. Would recommend to anyone looking to host a private party.

Wanted to try something different tonight. We had the warm bread loaf, fried catfish with glazed carrots and mac and cheese and the jambalaya. Everything was so yummy, the staff was really friendly and explained the dishes. We will definitely be back.

My group of 9 enjoyed our dining experience. A few of us had the combo with red beans and rice, jambalaya and blackened catfish. Everything was delicious. Our waiter was accommodating and provided separate checks. We had reserved ahead and received very good service.

Ordered the gator bites to start. Not bad, a little tough. On par with what I've had elsewhere. For dinner, I ordered the shrimp and grits (with andoule sausage). Great taste with a nice gravy. My dining partner ordered the Cajun porterhouse. Cooked perfectly with a tasty crust. The carrots are on point! We were both pleased with our food and will be back soon. As my dining partner discovered, make sure you go here and not to the imposter Crawdaddy's. This one is the real deal. Welcome back!
