Jerk 76 Jamaican Restaurant

I got the chicken combo 😋😋😋😋 it’s good every time ❤️❤️❤️❤️

First off. Very disappointing to drive 30 minutes, walk to the counter and order curry goat and for them to say they’re out. Ok, cool let me get the oxtails then, out if that too. Ok, let me get the jerk chicken/curry chicken combo and another curry chicken. Cool, they have it, now we are getting somewhere. Waited 10 mins into the order and they tell us they only have enough curry chicken for one meal :( at this point, I’m questioning if I should just leave but I just Went with another jerk chicken. Waited about 30 minutes for our food Tyne went home. Jerk chicken was good, a bit dry but nothing too underwhelming. BUT they didn’t include the jerk chicken sauce :(, so I had to eat it without sauce. The curry chicken was delicious, I would drive 30 mins anytime for it. The rice and beans and cabbage were good, they just needed a bit more salt. But we fixed that at home. And the counter attendant should be more pleasant. The man that was there was nice. I got the impression he was the owner or manager. Overall, I have to go back and give them a second chance just because of the curry chicken. Granted, it was a Friday afternoon. Maybe they had a busy day.

Came here just to see what the hype was about. The customer service wasn’t that great! You have staff sitting at the bar drinking, laughing, and just not giving professional atmosphere at all. I got there at 6:30 PM and they were completely out of jerk chicken.

I order brown stew and a side of plantain. The food was okay but wasn’t that good in my opinion. For plantain to be $4.50 these were absolutely disgusting. They were soggy, wet, and oily af. They were stingy with the serving size. The chicken was slightly dry and over cooked but the rice and cabbage was the only thing I ate off the plate. I will not takeout from here again.

They serve frozen drinks and alcohol which you can drink while you're waiting. It took about 45 minutes for the food to arrive.
I'll let you know how it tastes. I gave 4 stars because it looks good
