Johnny V's Classic Cafe

I come here frequently. The atmosphere is nice, staff have always been nice and attentive. Place is clean. I've had a variety of different dishes including pancakes, omelets, salads, cheesecake, and pasta. Most of the food has been good, with the exception of the cheesecake and the chicken was overcooked last time I went.

Really impressed on first visit. Staff was patient while we tried to decide what to order from the extensive menu. Patty Melt (with sweet tater fries) and Mushroom Swiss burger (with regular fries) were reported to be very good. Cobb salad was fresh and generous portions. Oven Roasted Tomato Soup tastes great. My Ricotta Stuffed Meatballs were outstanding. Served with pasta (which wasn't watery) in a great red sauce. Best part of what was already a great dinner came in the house choclate pudding. Best pudding I've ever had; and was included with my meal. Greatly appointed decor with lots to look at. We were there around Independence Day. There was an Uncle Sam (maybe owner or manager?) there who took the time to take a photo with a special needs kid. Will definitely be back.

Always great food. Having been coming back here for years. Unfortunately, this year we did not go in, due to how jam packed the place was in March. The servers are always wonderful here. But I'm glad they are busy, they have great service!
