Love that Pabst came back to MIlwaukee with this microbrewery. They did an amazing job rehabbing the building. Beers are interesting and original. Amazing beer hall to relax, play a game or people watch. They often have comedy specials, music and bingo. I went to Bingo last week and won! Make sure to yell PABST though, not Bingo. Such a great part of the neighborhood. They also have a beer garden in back. Definitely worth a stop.
I found this to be a very underwhelming experience. The beers on tap were fine, the outside area was, honestly, pretty ugly. With people smoking both weed and cigarettes, which I personally don't mind but in Wisconsin people are going to bring their kids to breweries and it just was way to small of an area to allow smoking I thing. Someone brought their toddler down to the area and left when she smelled weed!!! (lol, can you imagine a toddler getting a contact high??? no thanks) So that was pretty weird.
The layout of the building was strange but really awesome art was everywhere. It was pretty dead which also surprised me. I tried 10 beers and only one was good, which everyone in my group agreed with. . . Overall just not really what I expected from such a large and well known brewery. If the outdoor area was improved I think it would be a lot better.
A place to visit if you’re in the Milwaukee area. The bar has a great atmosphere with plenty of events happening. The night I was there, there was a local band placing jazz. The beers on tap are brewed in house and are a good variety. They also have to go beer in Crowlers and growlers. If you have a chance to go on the tour, I’d say do that as well. You will learn a lot about the history and the brewing process.
Like the space and their brews! The tour is informative but wasn't anything spectacular. A historic place worth visiting in a cool complex.
Very impressed! We visited on a slower Sunday afternoon, but had amazing service from the minute we entered until we paid our tab.
Did the brewery tour. Very interesting. Short but a lot of info was shared by the tour guide and you can drink on the tour.
Many options to try in the taproom. Would definitely visit again soon.
