There are no words to truly capture the incredible experience one has when dining at Tavolino. Peter, Derek, and the entire staff authentically embody their mantra that “the fondest memories are made gathered around the table,” and they do it in such a way that makes me proud to be a patron. Until now, I don’t know that I’ve ever frequented a restaurant that truly felt like “home,” but at Tavolino, you’ll be treated like family and fed like royalty. Not sure what to order? Close your eyes and point at anything on the menu. You can’t go wrong. From their classic staples to their unique seasonal fare, Tavolino pushes the envelope and consistently delivers on taste, quality, and style. Whether you’re an East Side local or visiting from out of town, I encourage you to pull up a chair, pop open a bottle of vino, and chow down on some of the best food this city had to offer.

Me and my partner went to Tavolino with high expectations and they were all exceeded. Peter and Michael provided knowledgeable and prompt service with excellent silverware etiquette. The food was absolutely phenomenal as well. Come hungry because everything from their starters to in house prepared pasta and pizza are worth a try. Michael was also terrific with his wine pairing recommendations. Tavolino is the high end modern Italian fare Milwaukee needed and we will most certainly be back.
