Corner Bakery Cafe

I really like the food here, but unless you have a coupon, it’s expensive for what you get. We are not cheapskates, but still would not go here without some sort of discount. Staff is very friendly and restaurant is always neat and clean. Good location as well.

Corner Bakery is a great place to grab food, I've mostly had their breakfast and I really enjoy their crossaint sandwiches. Portion sizes sometimes leave something to be desired and the service I've had so far was pretty average. Overall, nice spot to stop for food.

Sad to leave a mediocre review as I don't typically leave a review unless it is a 5-star experience. I stopped by after the long morning checking out the neighborhood as I am planning to move to Shorewood in a few months. I struggle to select a star rating because of the mixed customer service I received. The front cashier (I believe her name is Angela, but I could be wrong) was extremely rude and unwelcoming. She looked as if she was having the worst day ever! She made me extremely uncomfortable for switching my order to dine-in instead of to-go. The front person can make a lasting impression on a first-timer. Please consider changing your attitude towards customers! On the flip side, another employee - I think it was Maria, who was exceptional! I'd rather bring my business elsewhere else if the front cashier continues showing unpleasant attitude. I really wanted to like this place but my experience fall way too short of my expectation.

Clean food, clean space! Shout out to Maria, who's new and will make a great addition to an awesome team! Many thanks to the managers, who always engage customers to help create a welcoming spot to enjoy a delicious meal, treat, or cup of coffee. And it's a convenient stop near the bike trail.
