I was on my way home when I stopped into Hermanas in a spur of the moment decision. By far one of the best decisions I’ve made! The food was popping with flavor, the drink specials were spectacular and Josie, my waitress was incredible! She was personable, attentive, and always there to follow up with more! Every aspect of my experience at Hermanas was worth the stop. Also, the interior was sharp and unique.
First off, what the two owners has done to this place is remarkable, from turning the Thirsty Duck into a even better restaurant/environment. Very kid family, I brought my two daughters here with my Wife. Friendly waiter Seth I think his name was. Very nice and helpful to us about what to order on the menu and what his favorite drinks are. If your looking for a more relaxed spot for Covid Policies then this spot! Very Clean and sanitary place, tables are wiped spotless right after customers leave. If you ever end up going to this great establishment I would recommend either the Pork rib or the Steak tacos. Enjoy!
Hermanas is my new favorite Mexican spot in town. Everything from the food, the service, the vibes, nothing can beat it. You will go in hungry and come out satisfied for sure. I recommend trying the birria flight, one of each flavor, and the berry me or prickly pear on the drink menu. Another bonus is you’re supporting a small family business, eat small :)
My wife and I went alone on our first visit. We were meet with friendly service. We had a drink & ordered our food the food was excellent. My wife had enough left over to take home. I cleaned my plate like a good boy & we had another drink lol. We both couldn't wait to bring our entire family back for another visit. The second visit was even better with more family .We enjoyed the experience and especially enjoyed the food and drinks .
There’s Mexican food, and then there’s Hermanas. I was skeptical at first looking at the menu and noticing the price difference between “normal Mexican restaurants” and their prices. Well, it turns out it’s just like anything else in life, you pay for what you get. A few extra dollars gets you the best tasting, most thoughtfully done Mexican cuisine I’ve ever tasted. The only regret I have was not getting all pork on my flight of Birri tacos. They were all amazing, but the pork was just hair better than the rest!
