Sammy's Taste of Chicago

Very good hot dogs and sandwiches at reasonable prices. Sammy is a hoot...free comments and commentary. One of my favorite places for a casual bite to eat. Sammy's has been around for a long time....an "institution" in the West Allis area.

I thought the food was good, prices were somewhat reasonable. Cleanliness is something they could work on. Would like to see a little more attention to cleanliness in the dining room. Great friendly service.

Very good for a quick and inexpensive bite to eat. Get your fair share of Chicago comfort food, just don't ask for ketchup on the hot dogs. This is a well ran, clean and tidy place with room to seat about 25 people. Sorry I'm not sure if they feature a pork chop sandwich, I can say my Chicago hot dogs were fabulous.

Love it!! Almost brought tears to my eyes Oh how I miss my food from home. Excellent customer service , with amazingly friendly conversation. I almost thought I was home in Chicago. Thanks Mrs. Sammy I will be back to chat can't wait to hear about your vacation.

Like every place Sammy’s got a lot of pros and some cons. Way Better than other places in Milwaukee that served Chicago food ,both food and prices. Ate there 4-6 times total. Never found any errors when it came to my food. Keep up the great work!
