Colonial House Supper Club

Waitstaff was doing well, even being short staffed. I just wish others could be more understanding. Food was excellent. Buffet was kept up.

Top tier Wisconsin supper club fare. Only referencing the Friday night seafood buffet. Nice variety of fried seafood (what can I say, I am indeed a Wisconsinite.), some baked i.e. lemon haddock. Sliced NY Strip, Ribs, chicken, twice-baked potatoes, rye, and rolls. Not overcooked which is truly not that uncommon. Extensive salad bar with quality produce and "picnic salads." All very fresh. The broccoli clam chowder was creative, but I'm a New England traditionalist. Surprisingly reasonable. The staff was delightful, but obviously "stretched thin" on this holiday weekend which wasn't surprising. I docked one star for my inability to find a clean soup spoon in the "clean soup spoons." I'm a former cook and food service worker and details of this nature matter. Aside from my obligatory water and napkin spoon cleaning. I was still not a "deal-breaker." I know Friday nights can be excruciating for all staff. Bottom line: delicious and I will return. I hope this place continues for generations.

This is a very good fish buffet, on Fridays. They do an excellent job of keeping the food fresh and the selection is outstanding. You get many types of seafood. Salmon, perch, walleye halibut, shrimp and steak. This has it all and don't forget the chicken. It is a must try, you will not regret going out to Freedom.

Every thing was delicious. We have found our new Friday night place for fish. The fish buffet is awesome. Plus the salad bar and soup. Senior citizens will love the price.

So far so good. It was my first time there and we went to talk to, and book our reception with them. First impression.....the place is clean, and huge. The staff were helpful and kind. I didn't realize that they served Sunday brunch. It smelled amazing. We regretted eating before our visit because I definitely would have joined in the buffet.
