Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

This is some of the best food I've ever had in the Fox Valley. Delicious and all made from scratch! My favorite plate is the chicken tender platter. Insanely delicious foods! The staff is very friendly and the drinks are good too! I can't honestly complain about anything. If you go here, TRY THE SANTA FE SPINACHE DIP! You will NOT regret it. ????????????????????

It was clean & comfortable. Food was ok, onion rings were good. Did not have drinks or dessert. I liked the veggie option, want feeling like a big dinner, that kept it on the lighter side.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff that was very attentive. House salad was fresh with a melt in your mouth crescent. New Orleans pasta was okay. Cooked right but cheese sauce was a bit bland. The chicken inside was grissly. Beer was nice and cold. Overall experience was good.

Usually the food and service are 5*, but this last visit, service was not up to par. I took into account the Memorial Day holiday, but it seemed my server just had too many tables, as she took a long time to get back to me.
The broccoli was very much overcooked as well, however the chicken and shrimp were good, sound the pineapple salsa was delicious.
Also gave me a yellow pen (wrote in yellow ink), which was almost impossible to read.
I do recommend Cheddar's, just this visit was not up to their usual 5*rating.

This was not our first visit and we will continue to go back. The people are polite, prompt and capable. The building is new, the seating area is roomy. I have been impressed with the lack of distracting noise here, even when crowded. It is easy to have conversations with your party. The food, is delicious with a good variety and great table service. This appears to be a well managed franchise and location. Good Job.
