Love the course. Links is the best type of course. Usually always in good condition with good challenging holes though no scenic views. I can't understand why they charge full price for when the course is less than 100% condition due to the immense amount of rain recently with just about every bunker full of water. They can't control weather but they can control the register. It's about knowing your course conditions and price based on that.
We’ve conducted our golf league here for the past 9 years. Although our league has played at other courses previous to RSPGL, I cannot ever imagine going anywhere else. Top class public golf course and restaurant all the way around.
This is a good golf course. The bunkers are well raked, the ponds are real wet, and they have 19 holes here so you really know you're getting your money's worth! The tires on the carts always have good tread, and they drive real nice too. My only complaint is that I once stepped on a nail here and it poked my foot through my golf shoe. Ouch! But that was my own fault for hitting the ball off the course and into a farm field. In the meantime I got a new 7 wood and haven't had any foot pain since!
Golf course is always in fantastic shape.
Pro Shop and bar staff is very friendly and helpful.
Food is also very good. Great variety.
Very good selection of craft beers too.
I think the course is one of the best in northeastern Wisconsin. Very well maintained. Greens , although rather difficult to read, roll true. Nice to see that they open in the spring when the course is ready.... not too early as to cause damage. Would like to see the green’s contours displayed on a card or in a notebook...for purchase?
