This wonderful place reminds a person of an old-school supper club- elegant tables, rich decor, lovely lighting, a lovely enclosed terrace yup look at, Frank Sinatra on the sound system. But the real star attractions are the lovely menu and wonderful service! Everything's fresh and made from scratch- no warmed-over microwave stuff here! And it takes like home cooking.. That is, if your mom is a wonderful chef! It's been awhile since I've been here, but it sure won't be long until I'm back! Thank you!

Stopped in for a late lunch today that was fantastic. Consistently awesome food. Nice to see the owner working as hard as the other servers at a busy time. Great place.

A little pricey, but that's the only drawback. Fabulous service! Beautiful ambience. This is what a supper club is all about! Our waitress added special touches and extra service because she enjoys us being there just as much as we enjoy being there.

If you miss Dean, Frank, Sammy, and Joey, singing on the radio, and going out for dinner with your grandparents in the fabulous 1960s, the Dalles House will allow you to recapture those memories of yesterday. The supper club atmosphere is alive and well here! Typical of mid-century dining service is attentive , knowledgeable and well experienced. They aren't afraid to whip up those drinks you heard your parents order when you were a wee tot. I had a rib-eye steak that was tender and tasty. My wife was very impressed by the duck. We were well fed and very satisfied with the fare. Both bar and restaurant overlook a cozy waterfall garden. No trip to the Taylor's Falls area would be complete without a visit to the Dalles House.

First of all the Bread Pudding dessert was unbelievable. Get that first and you'll be happy for the rest of the day.
Did the walleye, blackened. No flaws. Cooked great. Wait staff was very fun.
