Finally! Found great BBQ on the Wisconsin side of the border! Brisket was awesome and I'm a picky Texan! Sauce taste like home and ribs were on point! Stop here after hiking at Interstate park it's just a few miles away and you want be disappointed! Owner is passionate about BBQ and you can tell how he keeps his place spotless! I'm looking forward to coming back next time I'm up that way!
Decided to stop in for a quick dinner and were very impressed! Ordered the ribs, and since it was Sunday also ordered a pound of the burnt ends. The dry rub on the ribs was so exceptional that you wouldn't even need a sauce... that being said their BBQ sauce was also a perfect blend of smoky and sweet, and ribs were thick and perfectly cooked. The burnt ends were flavorful and juicy with their own unique rub. We are from 2 hours away and would happily visit again; may even have them cater our rehearsal dinner (no joke, that good!!).
Best Bar BQ around. Highly reccomend going here, you will not be disappointed! Beef brisket is our favorite, we buy it by the pound. We have been here multiple times and it is just as good as the first time, if not better. Definitely need to have their banana pudding also.
Great people, got confused on what the parfait option was. Parfait option was good, just didn't get as much meat as the sandwich option. Get the sandwich the first visit then try the parfait option the next time. Overall great place to stop for BBQ will definitely be back ????
I got the ribs and pulled pork, and my wife got the chicken. Both were pretty good. We stopped in a little after the lunch rush and as part of my order, I purchased a pound of brisket to go since I heard so many good things about it.
The ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and BBQ sauce: Five stars
The brisket: Three stars. My pound of brisket looked like I got the very last bits of the meat. There were two nice slices in there and the rest was long strands of meat grain which was chewy and pot roasty. The two slices I got were good but only accounted for a quarter of the pound.
We've tried stopping by a couple more times since the initial visit to give it another shot but both times they were closed for various reasons.
