    Went to Cottage Cafe with book club today for lunch. Nice menu selection. Something for everyone. Chocolate chip banana cake for dessert- still warm! Took good care of us, putting 7 of use in an upstairs room. Chris talked to us for about 45 minutes after lunch about the history of the house and their paranormal experiences. Had a great time. Relaxing and fun.

    Very pleasant environment with home-cooked style food and beverages.
    The owners are very friendly and also run a ghost-hunting agency, which makes it a little more interesting.
    The dining room is decorated like a front parlour from the 1930s replete with books.
    I had a delicious tuna cheese melt on my last visit. Their lavender shortbread is very different, a subtle flavour seldom used in baking.

    Their lunch special was very reasonably priced and good. Food made on site.
