Father Fats Public House

Fantastic menu, love that the menu changes, great specialty drink menu. Tapas plates are very filling with a nice selection of different kinds of plates. Love that the food is not the usual diner flair and offers new experiences each visit. Very professional and courteous staff.

Really good food, but a little pricey! Good place to go to impress a date. Different entrees available than your average mid-west dining. It's kind of small, so I'd recommend making reservations.

I had Father Fats at a 4 star but I am downgrading that to three. It is just too loud for comfortable conversation. During a recent visit a friend turned to me and said " I really don't like this place." I responded "Too loud?" He grinned and nodded. It was then I noticed a smattering of folks in the same predicament. They'd stopped attempting to talk. Me, I'd rather not shout to be heard over the din. Too bad, they otherwise have great food and excellent service. Not a cafe, kids restaurant, or bar food. Yes, VERY LOUD!

If you like variety and want to try some things a little outside the norm, Father Fats is a great place. Even if you just want a burger, they can give you a great one. The food we tried, including the PB, PB, &J, was lights out fantastic. Great service with a very helpful waitress. Smiles on all the staff. Clean place that I would think gets pretty cozy when it's busy. Would have liked to try some of their beverages from the bar but I was driving. I highly recommend Father Fats!

Such friendly staff. Our waitress suggested us some of her favorite menu items. The food was super great. My boyfriend and I had a great time and we definitely want to go back and try out other things on the menu. Especially since some of the items change daily. The setting of this place is clean and modern. What I ordered was the caramel apple french toast and it was very very good.
