Best chicken sandwich in Burlington. Yes, it's a bar but the food is above average!

From this tiny grill behind the bar they make all the food. The area is like walk in closet small. You may think how could food created in this old bar be any good? Well it is! I had the fish fry, nicely done, very traditional Wisconsin fish fry. Decent slaw. Guests at the table had burgers and wraps, all happy no complaints. No high pressure to order more drinks, pretty chill place, if you are looking to reconnect with old friends and like the comfortable bar atmosphere - this is your place. Very reasonably priced.

John's bar has very good low prices food and drinks. There is plenty of room to either dine in or site at the bar as well as play pool or darts. In the warm season the newly built outdoor bar patio is gorgeous and has great access to a big parking lot and the rest of downtown Burlington.
