Meli Cafe Pancake House & Restaurant

I always make it a point to go to Meli’s when I’m in town. It’s a real genuine place to be. Even when they start filling up with guests, the wait staff makes you feel like a friend. Great, great place. Also, try not to get addicted to the Greek honey donuts. Actually, get addicted. They’re unreal. Pancakes the size of the table too. I had the pleasure of meeting with the owner just after he opened it as Meli Cafe. He really knows the business and know how to run it well. Great guy, great restaurant, great atmosphere, great food.

Stopped to eat breakfast before heading back on the Highway and the food was very good! So glad they had Turkey sausage and Turkey bacon on the menu. And the Greek donuts they bring to the table before your meal comes was a tasty sweet treat ????

We like to eat here often but the last 2 times haven’t been as good as usual. I ordered a turkey club & the waitress brought it to the table & noticed there wasn’t any turkey on it. So she takes it back to the kitchen & returns with the club sandwich that they just slapped a piece of turkey on each end. Not impressive & the tomatoes were mushy. I’m hungry & want to eat so I didn’t bother sending it back. The turkey club should have 2 layers of turkey, not 1. The time before this, my husband ordered a gyro omelet & it was raw in the middle & had hardly any gyro meat. Please don’t start slacking on your awesome food as you got voted highly in 2018... it’s feeling that way to us. I hope the next time we visit, it’s like it was before......excellent, or we will not be returning

Love this place!!! Came into town on a weekend getaway from Chicago. So glad i checked this place out!! Great food!! Great service & extremely affordable!! I will definitely be back

One of the go-to breakfast places for me in the Racine area. Try to get there by 8:30 am on the weekends if you want to avoid the rush. I have bounced around a lot on the menu, but the last few times I have been here for breakfast, I went with the Stavros Combo. I love it! It has everything. The service here is great, and it always seems like everyone there is working to make your experience the best possible.
