Okay now that I have your attention let me tell you if you're getting your chicken from Popeye's, KFC, or one of the many grocery stores in the area than you need to STOP because Chester's Chicken is now on Lathrop avenue!!! And they have so much more to offer I don't know where to begin so let's start with the no wait time as soon as you enter they have a beautiful display of many of their menu items that are hot and FRESH very important lol that are ready to go if you're in Rush or don't feel like waiting in a long Drive through line and speaking to a box or even worse looking for a good spot in a parking lot and having to walk through the produce section just to order your and if you're upset that KFC no longer has potato wedges well Chesters does and they are the BEST!!! because they DOUBLE fry them which makes them extra crunchy on the outside and super fluffy on the inside plus they put honey butter on top of their biscuits and you have to try them you just have two especially if you like a crusty top plus they also offer sides like mashed potatoes and gravy along with mac and cheese which are two very important items when ordering chicken. Along with amazing food something that is very important to me is customer service and the employees there were all very kind and polite and we're patient with me when I couldn't make up my mind because everything just looked so good. Finally let's get to the chicken Chester's Chicken is so good you cannot eat this stuff standing up because your knees will buckle I don't know what they put in their seasonings or how they make the skin so crispy and delicious but I don't care as long as they don't stop by the way don't forget to get the Chester sauce it's their signature sauce and it really completes the meal so I look forward to my next visit and would like to thank the incredible staff at Chester's for the great service and hope others will have the opportunity to try them too.”

“Love the ambiance. As soon as you walk in, you immediately see a beautifully executed theme. For example, there is a lot of blue walls, seats, which match an aquatic feel. There is also a boat-like seating area. I mean the concepts are very well thought off and matches the name of the restaurant! The place is obviously very new! Everywhere is very clean (though I did not check out the bathrooms or kitchen). The buffet area is well laid out and the food is very good. I tried almost every item (except for sushi). Next time, I’ll try the sushi, maybe. The only reason I’m rating the food a 4 is not really because I did not try everything. But, I did have a variety of the chicken and the best was the chicken on skewers. My least favorite was the chicken in spicy sauce because it seemed to taste a little bland. My actual rating is 4.5 but, that’s not part of the rating option. I’m definitely going to go back and will update my review as needed. Update (9/28) I’ve been back and my review is still the same. The only thing I’ll add is the servers are not fluent in English, so use basic English words to communicate and communicate with sports and simple sentences. If you want water with no ice, ask for “Water. No ice.” If you want tea bag and hot water separately, ask for “hot water”. When they come back, ask for “tea bag no water”.”

“It was about time Racine had a taco truck that's open after 11pm. Tacos are delicious had asada and al pastor. The al pastor are from a trompo so they are the real deal along with your slice of pineapple. Their Horchata is very good too not watery or too much cinnamon. 10/10 for me and my family and their menu has more varieties than other taco trucks in the area. Im so happy to have them now, I hope they stay!”

“We a topped in because we heard it’s was opening night. We were greeted and seated promptly. Server came right to the table and was knowledgeable about the menu. No liquor license yet, so no margaritas, but the food made up for that disappointment. The owner stopped by and introduced himself and talked about his vision and dedication to service. You can see the sincere desire to serve in all of the employees. We had an appetizer of guacamole, steak tocos and a steak burrito. The steak on both was perfection. Finished off with Godiva cheesecake! Only suggestion I can offer to this new establishment is to serve the salsa with the chips in a ramekin instead of squeeze bottles, and offer a less spicy version. Only got 4 stars because the atmosphere is still very new and pretty empty. We will definitely be going back!”

“Why can't I give six stars on Google? If I could, DW Coffee would be the lucky recipient. Today I visited this coffee shop for the first time, and I was blown away. First of all, it's in a 100+ year old bank building, beautifully restored and remodeled (painted tin ceilings are gorgeous, plenty of art on the walls, etc.) - also there is an amazing view of the Fox River, which is just across the street to the east. My son had a double chocolate chip Frappuccino, my wife got the 'Main Street' (cherry & white chocolate), my daughter got the 'Country Day,' and I got the drink that was last on the list ('Summer' something?) with chocolate and almond. We also shared a chocolate fudge brownie and a cinnamon/sugar roll (a "morning bun" in their parlance). Everything was an A+. Prices were very reasonable too. Wow wow wow. If this were closer to my house I'd be there on a daily basis. Try it and see for yourself!”

“Nachos Supreme. This side dish consisted of chips, nacho cheese sauce, and choice of meat and toppings. I chose steak, cilantro, onion, cheese, lettuce, and Pico de gallo. The chips to topping ratio was perfect. The portion size was enough for 1 adult. The pricing was reasonable. Overall, the side dish was good. While there's nothing special to make these nachos stand out from other concession style nachos, I really liked that I was able to pick the toppings. I would order this again.”
