The Rock Bar and Grill

I'm always happy with the food no matter what I order when I go here. The staff is friendly and the view over the river is nice to. If you haven't been I recommend you try this place out. I ordered the Wisconsin Pub Burger.

We went here for the Fish fry and I wasn’t disappointed. The food was delicious. The ambiance was pretty good as well. Scenic surroundings at this establishment right off Rock river. Would definitely go back here for a drink and some food when I’m in the area.

I love The Rock for the food and the great beer. I just wish The Rock would promote their beer events better. Most of the time you have no idea there is anything going on. Our waitress told us tonight that they don't get much information about beer events. Why? We have never been informed on arrival of a beer event going on or of any specials involved with an event. Shouldn't the event be one of the first things mentioned before seating your guests? Tonight was an Epic brewing event. No mention of this event was made by our host or the waitress and we never spoke to the representative from Epic. There was a drawing while we were there made by, who we found out was the rep and we weren't informed of that either. We loved the tasting and the dessert, but it was an EPIC fail on promotion and participation of the rep.

There for a surprise birthday party. Service from Liz was excellent! Food portion of a queens cut prime rib was good! Was flavorful and tender even though it was a bit past medium. The party room was a little cool off and on. Would have liked more heat out there. Overall, enjoyable!
