Best fish fry in the entire area, Wednesdays and Fridays! We drive about 20 miles to go here and have for years!! All the other food like burgers, pizza, and wraps are top notch too!! Great atmosphere, amazing daily sides and specials too! Great for the whole family or to enjoy the bar with some friends!! There are so many pla es to choose from but we keep coming back to Boxcar's!!

It’s a fun place to go anytime. They’ve successfully handled two larger parties for us. The service has been a perfect combination of attentive without being too much. Their food & drinks are always great. The atmosphere is really cool & everyone is friendly. Love Boxcars!

The food & the atmosphere here will always be the best in southern Wisconsin for me. They have always made me feel like family and right at home when I came to visit my dad from out of state. The steaks are amazing and Randi’s soups and chili are the best on those cold winter nights. I will always recommend this place to anyone passing through Clinton, WI. You can never pick anything bad on the menu because all their food is amazing. If you haven’t been to boxcars your missing out.

Great little place! We were there for some live entertainment a few weeks ago. We had SO much fun! The owner came over & chatted with us & thanked us for coming in. We will be back, for sure! Going to try some food next time.
