Wissota Chophouse - Janesville

Our large business group had a fun evening and delicious meal at the Wissota Chophouse this week! We started at the bar and the bartender Ryan was so friendly and made great craft cocktails! Our server Cassidy was very knowledgeable and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time. Great food, great staff, and a must-stop if you are ever in Janesville!

The staff was warm and friendly. Our bartender Ryan gave us a couple of beer samples to help us decide from all of the micro brews (happy hour). Mandy served us a scrumptious meal. I had the mixed grill; 6 oz. sirloin, lamb chop and a thick slab of Nueske's bacon. My wife had the jumbo prawns which tasted like lobster and were huge! We'll be back for sure.

Great service from Mandy our server. Beautiful decor but a little loud. Wood Stone and iron makes a beautiful resteraunt, but some soft surface would help with noise. Food was good, beer selection outstanding. The main dishes were a little plain on the plate, consider adding a garnish to dress them up. Appetizer were unique and flavorful. Will definitely go back.

My husband and I had a wonderful date night at Wissota Chophouse in Janesville! My initial thought when looking at the menu was that it seemed a little pricey for the Janesville area; however, they totally delivered and after sharing a few different menu items, I can say it’s definitely not over priced for what you get! Kendra was our server and did a fantastic job. She was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. We would definitely go back.
